Performs work focusing on a Center of Excellence in software, maintenance, and operations of systems used by AT&T or its clients to conduct business. Performs feasibility assessments, creates requirements, manages projects, and integrates and tests technical solutions for software. Includes systems analysis and application programming, database (data resource) management and security, computer operations, and information technology support.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manages technical professionals engaged in multiple projects or programs in support of business strategies and priorities. Deploys, manages, controls and coordinates the financial, physical and human resources required to complete specified work tasks, activities, goals and objectives over time. A key focus in this position is working across teams/functions and assessing and/or formulating strategic and/or tactical plans based on company business initiatives. This includes detail plans/schedules, resource allocation and assignment, critical path analysis, Agile methodology, coordination within all IT functions, on-going expense tracking and budget management.

• End-to-end leadership acumen, from strategic thinking to solution conceptualization to driving issue resolution.
• Critical thinking skills applied to new and ambiguous problems (e.g., organizational, technology, process, etc.)
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill associated with new and emerging technologies, such as: Cloud Computing, Security Management, Micro Services, Agile Development-Scrum and Scaled Agile, etc.
• Firm grasp on DevSecOps practices
• Negotiation Skills
• Meeting facilitation
• Results oriented and ability to set expectations and inspire high performance
• Work as a liaison to key business partners and other Technology teams and act as a subject matter expert on solutions to meet business needs and build/maintain ongoing positive relationships.
• Coordinate, evaluate and evaluate with technology vendors and outside consultants, as needed.

Education and Qualifications:

Preferred MS degree in Information Technology or related field.

Additional Information:

Typically requires at least ten years’ experience and supervisory experience.
