ACSI is looking for a leader to build a brand new team supporting the Xandr advertising & analytics business. In the role, the leader will take on a range of general management responsibilities that will ultimately deliver on plans to build out a high impact engaged team of technologists to support our bold mission to Make Advertising Matter.

In the first year, the role will primarily focus on the 5 deliverables below, with expansion and evolution of work as the team is established, become more mature and more deeply embedded in the organization.
1. Hiring & building a strong team of engineers and technologists
2. Efficiently handle local risk & regulatory matters, working with the AppNexus/Xandr global teams
3. Own and Deliver specific areas of Xandr platform and product development
4. Effectively run technology operations to manage 24*7 operations supporting global platform
5. Support other business and functional leaders to build teams in India

Roles and Responsibilities:

The day to day responsibilities of the job will be broad, and the right candidate will be adaptable and flexible to ongoing business priorities. The right person will seamlessly move through varying deliverables, managing stakeholders and teams in the process.

People & Culture:
Build a hiring strategy to hire & grow the team of engineers and tech ops across all functions efficiently
Recruit, hire, mentor, develop and retain outstanding technical leaders.
Work with other functions and business leaders to hire and build strong non-tech teams
Support hiring managers in building out of training and development plans for technical and non-technical needs
Build a culture fostering greater communication, visibility, access, and collaboration for the team.
Establishes strong rapport with team members, supporting practices that drive employee engagement and productivity


Business Operations & Productivity:
Managing local office operations & infrastructure, and handle all the local logistics
Ability to manage multiple budgets effectively
Drive urgency, pace, and process/performance improvements across engineering enabling to meet product & customer demands.
Develop a strong technology & product culture by investing deeply in developing relationship across all the offices
Represents the company with clients, business partners, and to local authorities

Strategy Setting & Execution:
Ability to understand complex system architecture, and ensure org architecture and teams are aligned with the platform goals
Help set policies, priorities, and strategies as member of the senior leadership team.
Planning and implementing long term business strategies to achieve the company’s objectives
Setting team-wide KPI’s to gauge team performance in all areas
Deep AdTech experience, and relationships with local partners and clients
Presents new ideas & strategies to the Senior Management Team in-order to develop and implement growth strategies.

Key Competencies and Skills:

Typically requires at least ten years’ experience and supervisory experience.
Work as a liaison to key business partners and other Technology teams and act as a subject matter expert on solutions to meet business needs and build/maintain ongoing positive relationships.
Proven influence skills across a matrix, global stakeholders, multiple cultures, and competing priorities
Ability to prioritize effectively
Able to course correct without losing momentum and delivery
Proven ability to lead, motivate and align individuals and teams
Skillful communicator
Flexible and able to move through varied and complex work
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and execution skills

Education and Qualifications:

Preferred MS degree in Computer Science background or Information Technology or related field.
