Description: This role will provide Systems Engineering/End to End Delivery/COE (Center of Excellence) support for Business eBill. The eBill application will continue to deliver key initiatives to support AT&T Business Solution (ABS) Digital and Network transformation. Strategic services/products on this platform span across ABS Mobility and Wireline domains supporting Domestic and Most of World (international) markets. Responsibilities include interacting with multiple stakeholders – Product Owners, User Experience, Solution Architects, Front-End User Interface SME, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Development Directors/Managers and other teams to understand the business, technical and system requirements to define the best digital billing customer experience.
The role requires an experienced person with business domain and technical expertise as well as excellent soft skills (communication, leadership and negotiation) to align multiple stakeholders for an optimal solution. This person will work across distributed teams spanning employees and multiple vendors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Key roles and responsibilities: The System Engineer will work as part of a larger team that includes other TechDev partners, clients, and strategic delivery vendors. The role will require:
• Ensure all accessibility requirements (CATO and e508) are met.
• Perform code reviews.
• Coach Developers and leads on technology and standards to be followed.
• Knowledgeable in DevSecOps processes & procedures as well as CI/CD tooling (Git, Jenkins, Eco, Sonar, Greenlight), Security Scan (Veracode, Appscan), Test Automation Framework, Code Complexity and deployment.
• Well-versed in ATT’s VPMO and TechOps processes & procedures to work across and engage teams including network, system admins, and operations PMs considered a plus.
• Proficient in platform infrastructure planning for scalability, performance and capacity.
• Annual Disaster Recovery swing exercise planning and execution
• Track AT&T internal Project You metrics (Speed and Quality) and devise/take actions in improvement plans if needed
• Remediate Segregation of Duty violation/compliance

Key Competencies and Skills:

Required functional and technical skills:
• 5+ years with Java-based enterprise solutions and strong understanding of large-scale web application design
• 3+ years of strong experience with microServices, NoSQL DB, Responsive/Adaptive design
• Excellent communication skills and team oriented.
• Java, javascript
• Webservices and APIs
• Relational DB and SQL
Preferred functional and technical skills:
• Industry experience in Telecom is preferred especially in the area of wireline and/or wireless products and services.
• Web security familiarity including remediation of application vulnerabilities
• Maven, Hibernate, Eclipse, Git, Spring, Jenkins, jUnit
• microServices
• Angular/Twitter Boot strap or equivalent
• Agile

Education and Qualifications:

Education: Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Additional Information:

Expert level in English language.
