Network operations engineer focusing on both Cloud and traditional environments for LAN, WAN, WLAN and NAC technologies within large enterprise environments. Involved in troubleshooting and solving complex incidents and problems. Performs change execution activities as well as works on small projects for the Customers. Projects are related to migration and renewal of customer networks, service migrations from CMO to FMO data centers, continuous network improvement activities, and high/low level designs and implementations. Position requires regular communications with Clients for Incidents/Problems, and project managers, delivery leads and customer technical teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Daily operations incidents and problems, and participation in transformation projects for changes. Involved principally in incident and problem management, and small projects for high and low level design, deployment and handover to ongoing operations. Participate in On-Call Rota for 24/7 coverage of technical support. Engaged in discussions with the customer regarding the resolutions of their problems.

Key Competencies and Skills:

Required Skills:
1) 3+ Years’ experience with Corporate and Data Center Networks
2) Cisco CCNA or other equivalent professional level of certification
3) Fluent in English and German
4) Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication or equivalent.
5) Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

2) HPN Networking
3) Firewall and security technologies
4) Internet access and proxy technologies
5) Virtualized network environments

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor in Telecommunications or Computer Science preferred. Certification in one or more of the following is an advantage: Cisco, HPN, Checkpoint, Juniper, Forcepoint, Palo Alto or F5. Candidates must have 3 or more years of experience with Network technologies.
