DevOps Dev Lead engineer is a technical position responsible for designing and implementing development process automation and evangelizing DevSecOps within the larger organization. This person will be responsible for examining teams existing development works flows and suggesting modifications to increase automation and decrease developer time spent on non-development activities. Engineers on the team will not have direct authority over the development teams within the organization. A successful candidate needs to be able to use multiple management styles to achieve change within the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience using code versioning software (e.g. git, svn) and common branching strategies and workflows (e.g. gitflow)
• Extensive experience with using Jenkins multi-branch pipelines
• Experience with agile workflows such as scrum and Kanban
• Experience with agile workflow tools such as Jira is a plus
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Comfortable understanding and working with a variety of programming languages. The candidate needs to be able to assist development teams with improvements regardless of which language, tech stack, or frameworks a team happens to use.
• Experience with Unix shell or groovy scripting.
• Experience with or willingness to learn system administration and middleware configuration such as Apache or Nginx
• Unix system administration experience either as a formal sysadmin or as part of a DevOps team. Specific experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a plus.
• Understanding of server management platforms (e.g. chef, ansible) is a plus
• Understanding of common software packaging formats (e.g. RPM, Debian packages). Experience creating packages is a plus.

· Collaborate with Information Security, DevOps and Engineering teams to identify Platform needs and issues with respect to information security and compliance
· Build tools and automation scripts that enable developers and engineers to easily consume security services
· Strong knowledge of the DevSecOps tool chain on Linux/Windows/Docker platforms; Jenkins, CodeCloud/Git/SourceTree, Nagios, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
· Ability to fluently read and write code in multiple different languages such as PHP, Java, .NET, Python, Perl, Etc.

Education and Qualifications:

Preferred Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; Developer or Data Analytics nanodegree.
Comprehensive understanding of English with strong written communication skill required.

Additional Information:

Salary from 3440 € brutto per month. Actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
