HR Country Management Specialist

This role covers the full range of HR Country Management functions; interacting with local and overseas Managers and leaders, Slovakia specific HR data survey and analysis, labor compliance, HR policies, processes and implementation. Employee relations and engagement, country crisis management, grievance and disciplinary matters, International and Slovakia based HR projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Few of the key responsibilities / activities that this position is expected to work on:
• Employee connect meetings, Stay interviews, Open house and skip meetings in different BUs
• Exit interview and analysis and drive, advise, support retention decisions in the Business Units
• Assisting HR Country Management team in drawing up policies, processes and helping in their interpretation, implementation and monitoring
• Collecting, collating and analyzing the HR related information from peer group companies in Slovakia and preparing statistical data in support of HR policy proposals
• Drive, advise, support employee engagement related activities in the location
• Address employee / manager queries on HR policies, conduct policy awareness sessions
• Support M&A related initiatives, work force planning, necessary documentations if any
• Advise and support Business Unit Managers on PIP and Disciplinary process
• International HR projects as required (on need basis)

Key Competencies and Skills:

• Knowledge and exposure to Labour law, handling disciplinary cases, external organizations.
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills. A good command of English is a must.
• Exposure to variety of HR functions. Experience in an international organization will be preferred.
• Good expertise in MS Office suite including MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience of working in international and cross functional projects is an added advantage.
• Self motivated person who can function with minimal supervision
• Ability to analyze problems and evolve innovative and creative solutions. Familiarity with statistics, presentation skills and modern HR trends and best practices is preferred

Education and Qualifications:

• Graduate with educational background in Human Resources,
• Minimum of 5 years HR experience in an MNC IT company of repute in a generalist role.
