The Implementation Project Manager has the technical responsibility for the client’s network environment, for implementation and change tasks, projects, providing technical network skills to the delivery centers and the Customers. This team contributes to project related activities by implementing planned network changes, HW refreshes or support complex network migrations involving different teams or solve complex incident outages. You may become a NW technology champion on NW technologies (WAN, LAN, Security, Proxy, Load balancing, Wireless...) or take a NW customer specialist role (unique technologies, processes) to provide special expertise, care, handle priority cases and share knowledge.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Your main area of focus will reside within NW Change management and Project Management but we deliver also Problem Management and 3rd line Incident Management.
- 3rd line incident On duty support during off-hours(one week per 2 months)
- Manage and implement complex NW changes as part of a project implementation or execute NW normal and standard changes on wide network portfolio
- Perform various NW migrations or new device implementations (SW, Routers, Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPN devices, ...)
- From a technical perspective you will work with technologies from LAN/WAN/Firewalls/Wireless/Load balancing/DWDM area on those vendors Cisco, Checkpoint, Bluecoat, F5, HPN, Aruba, ADVA
- Understands, synthesis and clarifies customer need
- Proactive to anticipate issues or situations which impact service quality, adapts quickly to new technology & understands complex infrastructures
- Work according to the procedures and best ITIL practices
- Set up all processes and documentation required to support
- Strictly follows Move to Production process including to check that tools and documentation are up to date
- Perform investigation on new technology, help inbound project managers and other support team to introduce new technology, capacity planning & performance management
- Acts as point of contact for customers and Delivery Leads for complex technical issues
- Analyzes and solves complex incidents involving several different & remote support teams, Identify root cause of incidents and make appropriate recommendation to avoid future failure

Key Competencies and Skills:

- At least 5 years’ experience in IT operations and Network operations
- Cisco Certification to at least Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience, CCDP is an advantage
- Experience in troubleshooting a broad range of network technologies, strong expertise in at least one specific network technology
- Fluent English is a must
- Ability to work effectively in diverse and multi-cultural environments
- Ability to communicate complex technical contents plainly and simply in English
- Strong technical knowledge including Networking
- Excellent customer facing attitude
- Team player: Ability and willingness to motivate and support others
- Strong consulting skills, flexibility and resourcefulness
- Ability to communicate and present in an effective way
- Analytical and complex incident solving skills, ability to coordinate complex network changes or projects involving several different support teams, ability to meet deadlines

Education and Qualifications:

Cisco Certification CCNP or equivalent experience is a plus
Certifications in ITIL is a plus

Additional Information:

Salary from 1650 € brutto per month. Actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
