Automation Specialists work as members of the Centralized Reporting Team supporting recurring regular and ad-hoc Service Management, Governance and Reconciliation Reporting.

In addition to these primary roles, Automation Specialists also apply their advanced capabilities with the Microsoft Office Suite of products, critical thinking, VBA Programming and SQL Query language skills to automate and implement complex analysis and data tabulation functions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support EMEA Centralized Reporting and Project Management Teams with the correlation and analysis of inventory data, production of labor cost saving automation scripts to manage data and correlate date, including automation of regularly reoccurring standardized reports.
• Work with Program and Project Mangers to correlate and merge data from various AT&T systems and process flow tooling, to better analyze and improve business decisions.
• Collaborate with SM and PM staff teams to document findings of Data Anomaly Root Cause Analysis efforts as input to process improvement or correction.
• Perform verifications incorporating checks for data normalization (i.e. format, structure, tolerance levels and data validation rules.).

Key Competencies and Skills:

• Prior experience analyzing data and figures to solve business or scientific questions.
• Strong experience working with MS Excel.
• Strong VBA Programming Experience supporting data analysis and automating data queries.
• Focused Critical Thinking supporting analysis of the numbers, trends, and data to see patterns and come to conclusions based on the findings.
• Experience with team reporting and documentation.
• Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills to present findings.

Education and Qualifications:

Typical applicants are expected to be currently enrolled in a University Level Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate curriculum of study.

Preferred Qualities

• Preference will be given to candidates that are seasoned self-starters with ability to work autonomously and with a level of confidence born of experience in manipulating data.
• Prior education or work experience writing, using and SQL DB Queries.
