We are looking for a skilled and passionate candidate to join our Exchange Operations team. This team monitors, responds to alarms and applies scheduled maintenance to the email platform comprised of several hundreds of Windows servers running the Microsoft Exchange application. If you are interested in messaging systems and already have few years of experience with MS Exchange, then this role may be the right challenge for you.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining one of the largest internal deployments of Microsoft Exchange for Business in the world, providing Tier 3 customer support as well as maintenance..
- Performs software installations, patching and upgrades to applications and layered software packages
- Schedules changes/updates and maintains servers in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
- Monitors the systems to achieve optimum performance and service levels.
- Develops and promotes standard operating procedures.
- Conducts routine hardware and software audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
- Responds to Tier 2 support escalations, using troubleshooting and break fix skills to resolve issues efficiently.
- Implements monthly roll up patches on applications as required.
- Covering items out of business hours and “on call” work as required.
- Identifies business process inefficiencies and works to improve, and create opportunities of growth.

Key Competencies and Skills:

- 2-5 years of experience with MS Exchange administration
- Experience with email routing and SMTP
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
- Understanding of Active Directory
- Understanding of Mobile Messaging (Mobile Iron, EAS, BB)
- Desire for self-development
- Ability to work as a team member
- Fluent English both verbal and written

Education and Qualifications:

University technical degree and Microsoft certifications an advantage, but not necessity as long as candidate can demonstrate strong technical skills
