Responsible for all aspects of project/program management associated with the implementation of assigned external customer-facing projects/programs. Provides a single point of contact face to the customer during implementation.

Responsible for relationship management with strategic customers during the project/program management life cycle and may provide consultative advice and support.

Projects are typically high-value and may be long- term. Must have thorough understanding of products and services. May also manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables. May also provide the vehicle for building and or venue
owners to engage on network improvements.

Provides guidance and expertise in project management through the use of a structured project management methodology to define and carry out business objectives. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Responsible for client satisfaction.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conducts end to end project management of large or multiple large projects.

Works as a team member or runs individual projects and is responsible for completing projects within allotted timeline and budget.

Identifies key internal/external stakeholders necessary for project completion and develops overall strategy for execution of high value projects.

Defines project scope and objectives, guides activities of a project team including delegating tasks to team members, identifies resources, and establishes master timeline for deliverables.

Projects are complex in nature, typically span multiple groups, and require analytical skills in defining scope and objectives.

Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates resource plans, and status reports.

Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.

Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project
deliverables.

Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

Key Competencies and Skills:

Relevant Domain Experience
• Typically 3-5 years of experience with at least 3 years Project Management, coordination and vendor management.
• Knowledge of DNS, Data Center, Mainframe and Mid-Range infrastructures, circuits.
• Knowledge of Voice and VoIP telecommunications and network
• Voice Networks (phone systems, call centers)
• Data networks (LAN, WAN, Router, Switch, and B2B)
• Firewall, Packet shaper, DMZ, Riverbed concepts and infrastructure required for these
• Working knowledge of MS Project, Word and Excel

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Demonstrates a basic knowledge of key Business Solutions operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
• Understands project management methods.
• Provides reliable financial forecasts to management.
• Manages internal as well as external resources.
• Able to communicate the direct value our capabilities will provide to our business partners and customers.
• Demonstrated strong expertise within relevant fields or disciplines. Strong knowledge or business experience in other business units or functional areas of the company. Should know basic network technologies and be able to communicate within the context of the technology. Should be fluent in the English language.

Education and Qualifications:

• Typically, a BS degree in Math, Science, Engineering preferred (full time) or equivalent related network experience
• PMP Certification preferred
• ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
