The communications specialist develops communications strategies, plans and implements communications to internal audiences, and consults with and provides communications services to internal client departments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Plans, writes, and delivers strategic communications to support the business objectives.
- Edits corporate and business line communications to ensure accurate, high-quality and impacted messages.
- Assess our current internal communication channels and proposes new ones.
- Supports the development of content strategy into the different Proximity internal communications channels.
- Conducts interviews and focus groups that support the Proximity initiatives
- Writes compelling content for Proximity
- Posts news content aligned to BU objectives
- Understands and uses a variety of media platforms, including web, video and social media.
- Lead the Social Media activity at the center
• May be called upon to support crises communications and to participate in Corporate Communications

Key Competencies and Skills:

- At least five years’ experience at internal communication
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to write quickly and accurately.
- Strong customer service ethic and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Working knowledge of web and social media.
- Strong editorial skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities

Education and Qualifications:

Professional Skills
- Must have a strong command of the English language (verbal & written, technical & interpersonal)
- Excellent in managing Incident, problems, change, vendor and release management,

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field.
