Role is important to the efficient operation of all other processes, including change, problem, incident and capacity management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The configuration lead is responsible for all configuration related topics for the customers managed by the delivery team
• Responsible for the CMDB accuracy and completeness of all supported CIs.
• Ensuring that all new servers & services are documented within the CMDB
• Clearly understand & document the configuration requirements for the technologies supported
• Recommend configuration changes and implement them across the environment to assure quality of service.
• Strong technical abilities allow this role to be hands on in correcting the configuration of the (CI) component or service.
• RTPA - Review the configuration of submitted new Configuration items or Services. Do they meet our standards?
• RTPA - Ensure all new systems’ quality build, and RTPA standard checks and criteria pass per process defined.
• Participate to the Configuration Management Global/Center meetings to ensure alignment on current best practices and also share improvements to current process.

Required Skills:
1) SC security clearance required
2) UK National
3) Team lead experience
4) Deliverables across a number of technologies.
5) Excellent coordination and communication skills.
6) Experience in project related activities.
7) Fluent in English.
8) Team Player.

Desired Skills:
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of 24x7 mission critical enterprise computing environments and the impact of service disruption on a company’s bottom line
• Must be able to work on multiple projects/ activities concurrently.
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate complex technical information in a concise and articulate manner.
• Be flexible and creative to adapt to environments where functional and business objectives evolve and change rapidly
• Be a capable individual contributor with ability to work with other departments and coordinate activities. Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Be organized and proficient with accounting for time, billing specifics, and company reporting activities.
• Very proficient with Visio, Excel, and other MS Office products.

Education and Qualifications:

• ITSM / ITIL process knowledge .
