As a solution architect, the key job would be architecting, designing, planning and implementing enterprise solutions for the AT&T Entertainment Group B2B and B2C Video Platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Supporting our marketing and sales teams and our Client Delivery Executives in elaborating requirements and defining and describing solutions for RFP responses.
· Working closely with development managers, leading the creation of high-level estimates of effort to support responses to RFPs.
· Producing architectural documents that define, describe and specify solutions for committed projects using our core product as the foundational elements. Component diagrams and descriptions, sequence diagrams, and non-functional requirements are examples of the information expected in architectural documents.
· Working closely with our development teams, leading the creation of high-level designs that realize solutions.
· Working closely with development managers and project managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions, focusing on ensuring that all committed customer requirements are met and are implemented according to the high-level design.
· Describing customer requirements and suggested enhancements to our core product teams to enable periodic integration of customer-specific solutions with the core products.
· Researching new technology and development approaches to remain abreast of current and emerging technologies.

Key Competencies and Skills:

· Minimum of 10 years experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade software and software solutions.
· Excellent understanding of distributed, multi-tier architectures and infrastructure.
· Excellent knowledge of and practical experience with J2EE design patterns (MVC, Strategy, Factory, Singleton).
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Java, J2EE (JMS, JSP, JSF, EJBs, JAX, JDBC, AJAX), Hibernate, XML, Struts, Tag Libraries, MVC, WebLogic and Web Services.
· Proficient using UML (sequence, state, collaboration, class, use-case models).
· Experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect or StarUML.
· Proficient in SCM tools and best practices (e.g. github, bitbucket).
· Minimum of 5 years experience and excellent knowledge of relational databases (Oracle preferred) and NoSQL (Couchbase, Cassandra).
· Minimum of 2 years experience and excellent knowledge of mobile device technologies (J2ME, Brew, Windows Mobile, Flash, Android, iPhone).
· Knowledge and experience with modern Web UI technologies.

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering or Science or equivalent experience in computer science field with admired institutions.
