An HR Country Management Specialist supports AT&T operations ensuring compliance with labour legislation, especially in the following areas: workforce planning, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, mergers and acquisitions; policies, procedures, and program development and implementation.

This position will be based in Madrid and will require ongoing partnership with employees and supervisors, external vendors and several teams in and out of the HR Organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

An HR CM Specialist is a subject matter expert, responsible for country HR and labor compliance under the HR Country Manager supervision.

- You will contribute to implementation of HR policies and programs while managing employee relations (works councils and unions if applicable), offering country crisis support and managing grievance and disciplinary procedures.
- You will support country HR process and benefit plan administration, production of required country documents and employee case management.

The geographical scope of the above mentioned responsibilities initially includes several countries, the most important being Spain and Italy.

Key Competencies and Skills:

- 3-5 years of experience and strong working knowledge of the Spanish labor legislation. Experience in other countries’ HR environments as local or remote HR operation specialist or HR is a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish and English is a prerequisite; knowledge of other languages (Italian, French, German) will be positively considered.
- Prior experience in the International environment and exposure to the Global corporate environment will be positively considered.
- Pro-active and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong professional communication and good presentation skills.
- Stress resistance and ability to work in rapidly changing environment.

Education and Qualifications:

Labour Relations / Law /Science of Work degree is a must
