Level 2 support and management for the data & voice infrastructure for a major financial customer in Mexico.
This role will perform daily operation activities (Troubleshoot Tier 2 incidents, equipment, services support & management, MACD execution) for our customer data & voice infrastructure.
This position requires to have experience in Cisco, Avaya, F5 or Infoblox.

Roles and Responsibilities:

L2 support and troubleshooting for the network incidents (tickets) on the supported network technologies of our (LAN, WLAN, WAN, Load Balancers, DHCP, IPT, PBX, etc.)
-Responsible for the execution changes on the routing, switching and voice infrastructure.
-Configure and interpret sniffer captures.
-Interact with other customer service towers to ensure the end-to-end solution of issues.
-Maintain network operation under SLA´s

Key Competencies and Skills:

- ITIL knowledge with technical network background.
- Fluent Spanish and English speaking.
- Service Management and Customer oriented.
- Good relationship with customers and capable to work under high stress.
- Knowledge of Cisco switches, routers, WLAN, etc).
- Multi brand knowledge in routing & switching (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme) (desirable)
- IP Telephony knowledge of Cisco or Avaya brands.
- +3 Years of Experience supporting & managing network devices (Voice & Data)
- Fluent Spanish and English speaking.
- Service Management and Customer oriented.
- Good relationship with customers and capable to work under high stress.
- Knowledge of Cisco (Nexus / Blade switches). (desirable)
- Multi brand knowledge in routing & switching (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme) (desirable)
- +3 Years of Experience supporting & managing network devices
-Installation, configuration and management of Windows 2008- 2012 platforms.
- Virtualization (VMware VCenter)
- Support, backup configuration, integration and storage systems, (SQL, SAN)
-Monitoring tools (MIBs, TRAPs, equipment discovery, etc.), configuration and troubleshooting of SNMPv2, SNMPv3 configurations.
-CCNA level (switching, STP, Vlans, ACLs, routing, etc.)

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Computer Systems, Telecommunications, Electronics or similar.
-Spanish or English speaking degree or certification (if not mother tongue).
- Cisco CCNA R&S Certified or Cisco CCNA Voice Certified
- Cisco CCNP R&S Certified or Cisco CCVP Certified
Experience managing Avaya products or demonstrable skills (desirable)
Sniffer Usage Training or demonstrable skills.
