This role is for a Project Manager/ Solution engineer that would oversee all technical aspects of the customer lifecycle from pre-sales to implementation, launch, and post-sales. This individual would be engaged on complex customer projects and will need broad technical background and experience working directly with non-technical teams and customers. The individual will be responsible for designing and helping implement technical solutions for IoT customers throughout their lifecycle, from ideation through to troubleshooting lifecycle issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The PM/SE is intended to support the business development / sales function from the very first interaction with the potential customer, to responding to any RFx (requests for information, proposal, etc.), to subsequent discussions needed to convince the customer that AT&T is the best provider for whatever IoT solution they may need. The Project Manager/solution engineer will also support the customer after business has been awarded in terms of any proof of concepts or product launches that transpire. Once the customer has been onboarded and launched, the solution engineer would typically then hand-off the customer to our post-production support team, but would stay actively engaged with the customer throughout any troubleshooting and issue resolution being led by the post-product support representatives. In addition to the specific job requirements, this individual would also be actively engaged in any potential customer and partner engagements that take place at a jointly manned innovation facility run by an ecosystem player and would be expected to be able to speak to various technical solutions, including those which we jointly innovate on with that ecosystem player.

Key Competencies and Skills:

-Strong and broad technical background a must
-Experience in IoT specifically preferred
-Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical solutions and terms to non technical teams
-Proven track record of interacting directly with customers, not just technical teams
-Proven track record of collaborating with 3rd parties to deliver joint solutions that meet the needs of all parties

Education and Qualifications:

-Minimum of technical degree
-Must have experience in technical space - experience in IoT preferred

-Must speak English fluently
-Must speak German fluently
-Must be open to travel
