AT&T's Computer Operations & Security Compliance Organization is currently seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our world-class support team as a Junior Systems Administrator located in our Naucalpan de Juarez office. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring system availability and performance
• Perform basic system analysis and configuration management
• Assist in diagnosing system issues, resolving outages, and performing root cause analysis
• Answer inbound calls from customers reporting or escalating issues; establish outage bridges as necessary
• Work with vendors to repair easy issues or route vendors to intermediate/senior personnel for advanced issues
• Follow process and procedural documents to resolve documented issues
• Collaborate with peers from around the world to ensure customers are provided world-class support

Key Competencies and Skills:

• Basic knowledge in one or more of the following operating systems
o AIX
o HP-UX
o Linux (CentOS, RedHat, or Ubuntu)
o Solaris
o VMware ESXi
o Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
• Basic knowledge of NAS and SAN storage, ability to explain the differences between NAS and SAN
• Basic knowledge of IP addressing and routing, ability to explain how IP addresses work and the basic components such as subnet mask, broadcast address, and default gateway
• Basic shell scripting (sh/ksh/bash), ability to demonstrate use of variables and basic flow control
• Ability to multitask while working in a high pressure environment
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and without supervision
• Fluent use of English written and spoken
• Clear and concise communication
• Flexibility to work nights/weekends as required

Education and Qualifications:

• High School Graduate
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 1 – 2 years of experience with one or more of the following operating systems
o AIX
o HP-UX
o Linux (CentOS, RedHat, or Ubuntu)
o Solaris
o VMware ESXi
o Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
• Upper Intermediate English skills (written and verbal) – B1 Level
• Experience within the IT, telecommunications, and/or networking industry is desirable
• Experience in a multi-national, multi-cultural, and global environment is preferred
