Junior Software Developer – GD&A Network Operation Support

We are looking for young and enthusiastic person to our new position of Junior Software Developer. The engineer will work as part of our new agile team to develop web applications, scripts, documents, designs and unit tests. May be required to collaborate with other teams within the organization to deliver software. Newly forming team operates in creative environment and provides opportunity for self – development.
This role is suitable also for fresh graduates or for student of last year of University studies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• A Startup approach to the usual set of corporate challenges. Our newly built team is tasked with leading the way to change the company’s development culture, which includes experimenting with new technologies and approaches.
• identify new suitable technologies based on the request and deploy the solution
• interface with AT&T development teams BizOps, TechDev and AT&T Labs
• provides consult to downstream and upstream operation teams
• provides technical guidance / configuration notes to the downstream implementation teams

Key Competencies and Skills:

• Experience with HTML, CSS, Java script
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL DBs (MySQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with Front-End frameworks (Angular, React) and deployment software (Docker, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of REST API principles and implementations (NodeJs, Django)
• Understanding of version control systems (preferred Git)
• Python knowledge is an advantage

Education and Qualifications:

Location: Kosice
Contract: Unlimited
Working hours: EMEA (9.00am-5.30pm) with flexibility to work US EST hours
Salary from 1570 € brutto per month. Actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
