As technical consultant responsible for the Japan business, this role is expected to be the trusted advisor for key multi national enterprises in Japan.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Work with customers in Japan as well as overseas to identify business problems and collect requirements.
- Partner with internal and external teams around the world to develop technical solutions comprised of networking, cloud, collaboration, security, IoT, and AT&T and 3rd party services.
- Work with account managers to lead the development of RFP (request for proposal) responses and proposals.
- Provide technical support to service delivery and operations team during critical installations and troubleshooting activities, when needed.
- Deliver presentations and updates to customers on latest technology trends and solutions as trusted advisor.

Key Competencies and Skills:

- Business level English & Japanese.
- Customer oriented presentation skills in technical solutions;
- A strong team player that can work with colleagues and customers from different backgrounds;
- Experience in working with global multinational companies;
- Demonstrates knowledge of and interest in new technogies and IT trends;
- Industry recognized certifications such as CISSP, CCIE a plus- ;
- In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas such as IoT, Security, Cloud, UC, or Mobility will be considered a plus;
- Working experience in a global network service provider a plus;
- Able to work late night hours when needed, especially with overseas colleagues and customers overseas;
- Able to travel locally and internationally occasionally;
- Willingness to learn and progress continuosly;
- Willingness to improve internal processes;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated;
